Tomorrow is my dad's birthday. It is his 50th birthday. Over the hill! Maybe that is the 40th birthday, I do not know. Anyways, happy birthday Dad.
Fullerton Update
First year of college gone! Wow that is crazy. It is hard to believe. These are supposed to be the greatest years of my life and they are going way too fast. It needs to slow down. Slow ride, take it easy! What do I have to say about my first year of college? I guess I would say it was good in the transitional sense. It got me used to the workings of the Fullerton so that is good. It also broke me into the world of the Finance Association and the realm of competitive ping pong. So I would say it was a good year. Academically is was the best year of my educational career. Getting straight A's this semester was just plain awesome. The stress paid off. If you can overcome the stress, you can overcome anything.

Yosemite Update
It is coming so close! And I am super excited! The meetings have taking place, some shopping has been done, and most of the planning has already been accomplished. I have this list with something to do everyday before the trip departure. Packing and planning is half the fun!...somewhat. It is also a lot of work. I usually get really stressed out and frustrated before the departure. Once I am in the park and smell the air though, then my stress dissipates like sand in the Merced river. As long as no major snags arise these next couple days, I would say everything is going to be pretty easy. Also fluorescent orange beanies are the best color choice of Yosemite unity.
Starcraft Update
I felt I needed to make a starcraft section in my blog to commemorate the gigantic increase in group starcraft gaming. What do you get when you combine two opposing forces (John and Blake vs. James Lonsert + 2 computers), one hour and six minutes, and lots of starcraft-imitation noises? You get one of the most intense, long, and triumphant battles ever played. I would love to go into major detail and give you the battle low-down stage by stage, but I am running short on time. Long story short, John and Blake won the battle in an amazing comeback fashion. Despite all odds the mighty Zerg emperor Lonsert fell. Rematch?
Lots of updates today. Offspring concert on friday.

Yosemite! Smell of the air, taste of the dirt!
ReplyDeletelooks like we are all up to date now
Have fun in yosemite. As to the starcraft battle, ill fill in the gaps. SO johnny blake and I decided it was time for a battle, and i wanted to be zerg. I had never used zerg before so they decided to let me have 2 computer players. It started off pretty even with both side competing for resources. Then my comps decided to charge the middle. They were met with fierce resistance from John and Blake. At this point I had started building my giant army and went to assist. Blake and John fought gallantly but the combined forces of 2 comps and my army they were crushed in the middle. That is where we went wrong. We didnt continue the assult. We allowed them to gather troops and march. I had expanded to 4 bases and was out of the gas resources. Apparently when the comps and i pushed the middle we took blake out of the game. So it was just john. John took out both computers with a mass army of tanks. At that point i had one base left and i was producing those guys that attack from the ground and was burrying them everywhere. John scannersweeped them and effectively destroyed them one by one. It was a close game with me taking out a majority of his tanks but being vanquished in the end. Good Game John and Blake.
